Nyon delivered. The 2025/26 UEFA Champions League Round of 16, quarter-final and semi-final draw took place at 12:00 CET on Friday 27 February 2026 Android Central — and the ties that came out of the hat are nothing short of spectacular. Eight matches. Eight stories. And one road to Budapest. Here's everything you need to know. The Full Round of 16 Fixtures The confirmed Round of 16 ties are: Paris vs Chelsea, Galatasaray vs Liverpool, Real Madrid vs Man City, Atalanta vs Bayern München, Newcastle vs Barcelona, Atlético Madrid vs Tottenham, Bodø/Glimt vs Sporting CP, and Bayer Leverkusen vs Arsenal. Android Central First legs: March 10–11. Second legs: March 17–18. Quarter-finals: April 7–8 & 14–15. Semi-finals: April 28–29 & May 5–6. Final: May 30, 2026 — Puskás Aréna, Budapest, Hungary. Samsung Real Madrid vs Manchester City — The Tie of the Round This is the standout tie of the round. Two European giants face off in what could easily be a final-level contest. Real Madrid were anything but comfortable getting here — forced through the playoff round after failing to finish in the top eight of the league phase, they now face one of the toughest possible opponents in Man City. Despite their domestic struggles, City have been a different animal in Europe — and the memory of past Champions League battles between these two clubs adds enormous weight to this fixture. PSG vs Chelsea — Defending Champions Face a Battle Defending champions PSG meet an in-form Chelsea side. The second leg at Stamford Bridge gives Chelsea a slight edge, but PSG's quality and big-match experience promise a high-intensity clash. PSG are looking to become back-to-back Champions League winners for the first time in their history — and Chelsea, rejuvenated under their current setup, will fancy their chances of ending that dream on home turf. Arsenal vs Bayer Leverkusen — Top Seeds Face Their Sternest Test Arsenal finished top of the league phase and look like one of the strongest teams this season. Hosting the second leg at the Emirates strengthens their position, though Leverkusen remain a disciplined and dangerous side. The Bundesliga champions are no one's idea of an easy draw — and while Arsenal are rightly favoured, this is the kind of tie that can turn on the finest of margins. Galatasaray vs Liverpool — Anfield Awaits Liverpool will be confident heading into this tie, especially with the second leg at Anfield. However, Galatasaray's dramatic playoff comeback shows they are more than capable of causing problems for any side in Europe. Anfield on a European night remains one of football's most intimidating environments — but the Turkish giants have proved throughout this tournament that they will not roll over for anyone. Newcastle vs Barcelona — Magpies Face Goliath Newcastle impressed in the playoffs, but facing Barcelona at this stage is a major challenge. With the second leg at Camp Nou, Barcelona enter the tie as clear favourites. Newcastle's Champions League journey this season has already exceeded expectations — but a trip to Camp Nou in the second leg represents the ultimate test for Eddie Howe's side. Atlético Madrid vs Tottenham — Diego Simeone's Trap Game Atlético Madrid under Diego Simeone are the masters of knockout football. Tottenham will know better than most that this is one of the hardest draws any side can get in European football. Spurs will need to be disciplined, clinical, and ready for 180 minutes of suffocating pressure. This tie will be decided by fine margins — and Simeone has made a career out of winning those battles. Atalanta vs Bayern München — The Tactical Battle Atalanta's high-energy, high-pressing style makes them one of the most fascinating sides left in the competition. Bayern München are serial Champions League contenders — but Gian Piero Gasperini's side have shown they can hurt anyone on their day. This is a genuine 50/50 tie that could go the distance. The Surprise Package: Bodø/Glimt Bodø/Glimt have become one of the most exciting stories of this season's Champions League. After eliminating a European giant in the playoffs and impressing throughout the league phase, the Arctic club has captured the hearts of neutrals across Europe. Sporting remain favourites — but Bodø/Glimt have already shown they should not be underestimated. Their fairytale run continues. The Road to Budapest The bracket is now fixed, meaning all 16 remaining teams already know their potential route to the final. English clubs are extraordinarily well represented — Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham, and Newcastle all remain in the competition. The chances of an all-English final in Budapest on May 30 are very real. Sixteen teams remain. One will lift the trophy. The road starts in March — and it cannot come soon enough.
